Treat that special lady you call mum to an unforgettable dining experience overlooking Lake Windermere in our beautiful restaurant. Head chef Gerald van der Walt and his team have been perfecting an exquisite menu. To start, the pick of our four fantastic dishes would be Gerald’s lightly cured scallops with squid ink & tapioca crisp, granny smith apple and sorrel, a divine way to start Mother’s Day.
For our main course, we can’t quite decide on roast beef, Yorkshire puddings roast potatoes, and broccoli in almonds or butter braised hispi cabbage with curred pickled aubergine, sweet potato, and a cashew nut paste. We’ll leave the decision to you once you take your seat.
To finish there are more difficult choices to be made, but we’d recommend the rose and coconut parfait with caramel, the perfect way to crown a day of celebration!
