Arrive at our splendid covered entrance before stepping through the doorway of Brockhole House into our panelled welcome lobby leading on to the original grand hallway with panelled walls, a classic Arts and Crafts staircase, beamed ceiling, and a solid oak floor.
The Lounge Bar
Enjoy a welcome aperitif from our small but unique lounge bar which serves a selection of drinks throughout the day and also into the evening during the summer months. Choose the window seat for stunning views or cosy up by the log burner, and enjoy a relaxing drink before you dine.
The Garden Room
Enter the beautiful Garden Room complete with a stunning original fireplace which has been opened up providing a classic focal point. That’s if you can take your eyes off our exclusive window seats with views across the Mawson designed gardens and over Windermere towards the Langdales.
The Garden Room is our main dining, lunch and Afternoon Tea room offering full table service throughout. Here you will be very well looked after by our specialist front of house team who can guide you through our menu options. An elegant piano sits proudly at the far side of the room, providing musical accompaniment for guests on occasion.
Dining underneath our ancient vine in the Orangery and sampling Brockhole grapes with your Afternoon Tea is simply not to be missed. A classic black and white tile floor brings style to this stunning room; with an elegant glass roof, and windows facing the Lake, it is certainly a very special place for a spot of lunch or Afternoon Tea.
The Orangery is also a stunning setting for private parties of up to 15 people. Simply ask us for details.
