Enjoy our Lunch menu here at The Gaddum. Gerald and his team have created a beautiful selection of seasonal-inspired dishes and everything we cook is designed to reflect the beautiful surroundings of the restaurant and the incredible landscape in which we sit.

The Gaddum has been sympathetically restored to reflect some of the original rooms of Brockhole House. Enter through the grand front door and choose to spend time in our lounge bar, the beautiful Garden Room or Orangery. During the spring and summer, we will also open up the terrace for you to enjoy.

The Garden Room is our main lunch and Afternoon Tea room offering full table service throughout, here you will be very well looked after by our specialist front of house team who can guide you through our menu options. The Orangery also serves Afternoon Tea and can be reserved for exclusive gatherings and celebrations.

The Gaddum Restaurant is set within the stunning surroundings of Brockhole on Windermere. With over 30 acres of beautiful grounds, boasting our listed Thomas Mawson designed gardens and lake shore access you simply must venture outdoors on your visit. Arrive by boat with Windermere Lake Cruises and see Brockhole House from the lake before making your way from our private jetty up towards the restaurant, taking in the gardens and spectacular views.

Once inside the house make some time to pop upstairs to The Gaddum Gallery to view the latest exhibition from renowned local artists and delight in the stunning panoramic views through the gallery windows.
